Zip files beginning with 'sv_' contain the input files for the Cycles 0.12.7 simulations of fields within the Sugar Valley, PA, watershed. When running Cycles, these files should be unzipped inside the 'Input' folder to auto-detected subfolders. Input files were created by the sv_genScen_wd.py script based on sv_metadata.csv. This file was an created using the most common gSSURGO soil mukey, crop rotation based on CropScape data layers from 2020-2019, and NLDAS-2 weather grid within a Common Land Unit polygon (USDA). Planting dates wer randomly (uniform distribution) assigned to corn, soy, and alfalfa in each polygon within agronomically relavant three-week windows. Zipped files beginning with 'CF_' contain the outputs from the Cycles simulations. These files should be unzipped within the 'Outputs' folder to auto-detected subfolders. The python and r scripts should be put in the Cycles folder, outside of the 'Input' folder. sv_scenOutput.py assembles outputs of interest to .CSVs and creates .CSVs of weighted-average crop yields for every year. The weighted-averages for the baseline scenario are in the CT_CF_NCC_00WD_3P_WA.csv file. These weighted averages are compared to the corn grain yields for Centre County, PA, reported by the USDA-NASS database. These data are found in the NASS_cycles_cYld_1980-2019_centre_v12.7_fdm_20210916.xlsx and NASS_cycles_cYld_1980-2019_centre_v12.7_fdm_20210916.csv files. The python script sv_analysis.py organizes output data into an easily readable format for the sv_outputs.R script.
