Here is a summary of the contents of this dataset. SHEAR - contains the CM1 model output for the SHEAR simulation. This directory contains three subdirectories. First, the "restart_12h/" subdirectory contains the restart files after the 12-hour boundary layer spin-up period (see Markowski 2020). Second, the "first_hour/" subdirectory contains the first hour of simulation output (available every 5 minutes). Third, the "second_hour_byminute/" subdirectory contains model output for the second hour of the simulatio (available every 1 minute). NOSHEAR - contains the model output for the NOSHEAR2 simulation. As in the SHEAR directory, this directory once again contains three subdirectories containing restart files, the first hour of simulation output (available every 5 minutes), and the second hour of simulation output (available every 1 minute). The naming convention is the same as in the SHEAR directory. BUBBLE_SIMULATIONS - contains the model output from the suite of warm bubble sensitivity tests. The subdirectories are: 1) bubble_1500m/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 1.5 km (available every 1 minute out to 30 minutes) 2) bubble_2000m/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 2.0 km (available every 1 minute out to 30 minutes) 3) bubble_2500m_full/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 2.5 km (available every 1 minute out to 120 minutes) 4) bubble_2500m_prcl/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 2.5 km (available every 1 minute out to 15 minutes, including parcel trajectories) 5) bubble_3000m_full/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 3.0 km (available every 1 minute out to 90 minutes) 6) bubble_3500m_full/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 3.5 km (available every 1 minute out to 90 minutes) 7) bubble_4000m_full/ - contains CM1 model output from the warm bubble simulation with a horizontal radius of 4.0 km (available every 1 minute out to 90 minutes)
